    This 2019 sweet wine by Toro Albala is produced with Pedro Ximénez a variety of white grape used to produce sweet, dark, and concentrated dessert wines in Spain. These wines are known for their intense sweetness and flavours of raisins, figs, and caramel.

    Tasting Notes
    Milk coffee colour. Aroma of raisin, dried apricot, fig, toffee and beeswax. Taste of buckwheat honey, baklava, minerals, dried fig and carob. High acidity, long aftertaste.

    Serving & Food Pairing:
    Serve your PX wine slightly chilled between 12-14º C. A dessert in itself it is the perfect way to finish a meal but also an ideal pairing with dark chocolate, blue cheeses, dried fruits and pastry.

    The young sweet PX has also changed its name and image and comes with a glass stopper in half-liter bottles under the name of 2019 Poley Pedro Ximénez Dulce, a young sweet wine with 15% alcohol and 324 grams of sugar. It has a dark amber color and a nose of syrup, molasses and brown sugar, denoting youth. It was bottled unoaked in to 18,000 bottles in December 2021. Luis Gutierrez Sept 2022
