The 1975 Graham's vintage port is a wine from an historic year for Portugal with a port declaration that came shortly after the 1974 revolution. With a lively bright appearance and deep aromatic nose of candied fruit, damson jam and sweet raisins, this port is a crowd pleaser. Elegant, with a long lingering finish it is nearly perfect now and will only keep improving.

Serving Suggestions:
When mature this port will need to be decanted to remove sediment. Serve at room temperature on its own or with vintage mature blue cheeses such as stilton Cashel Blue, Roquefort, Gorgonzola and Saint Augur Blue. …

1975 was a declared vintage and the vintage ports have a lighter style. The 1975 Sandeman is well above average, represents good value and has a good provenance. It is a pale ruby colour. Morello cherries, black berries and liquorice on the nose which has a slightly roasted quality. Slightly treacle like on the palate, with notes of honey and mocha.
