"Pale garnet colour with a touch of brick. The nose is a little closed and restrained yet with some coaxing opens out into an amazing array of dark cherry, dried cranberry, forest floor and tobacco aromas with an exotic sprinkling of Chinese five spice.The palate fills the entire mouth with ripe, concentrated fruit. Perfectly balanced with high acidity and a medium+ level of fine tannins. Very long finish. Still youthful. Drink now to 2020. Tasted November 2008." L Perrotti, In Asia, 2009
