  • Description

The excellent 1999 Château Lagrange is one of St. Juliens great wines - powerful, full-bodied and concentrated. The 1999 Lagrange introduces ripe fruit aromas of rich black currant and cherry, spicy, toasty new oak, minerals, cedar and charcoal. They are also very reasonably priced for their level of quality, and dependably.

    Cellar Tracker Review
Fully matured, well structured and still fresh and crispy. Chocolate, roast aromas, ink, graphite and mentholic notes in the nose. Mature, but still fresh red fruit, chocolate, ink, tobacco, caramel, licorice, light toast. With a subtle cask background and mentholic finish. A remarkable achievement in this difficult year. 90 Points
