Description

This superb LBV 2017 is a blend of full, rich and fruity wines of a single year which has been specially chosen for ageing from 4 to 6 years in oak casks prior to bottling. The grapes were foot trodden in granite lagares and stored in large oak vats called tonels.

Tasting Notes: This LBV Port is deep in colour, violet, dark red and purple. Very good concentration of mature dark red fruit aromas, with a very typical predominance and blackberries, black cherries, plums’ jam and cassis. Elegant and smooth, Palmers 2017 LBV Port has a great balance and finesse and a very long and fruity finish.

Food Pairing:
This Late Bottled Vintage Port pairs best with goat cheese, almonds, blue cheese, brownies, nuts, and chocolate.

STORAGE
The wine is ready to drink and does not require decanting. The bottle should be kept upright and protected from direct sunlight.
