These elements come together in a layered, balanced finish that highlights the wine's enduring craftsmanship.

Mid red in colour, paling on the rim. Alcohol protruding on the nose over a lovely mixed spice and aniseed. Lovely sweet raisins and dried cranberries in the mouth intermingled with licorice root. Very complex in the mouth. The aftertaste is sweet, pleasant, but short. 90/100 AHB (The Port Forum)
