Description

This is the finest Prieure-Lichine produced in many a year. The property is now doing malolactic fermentation in barrel as well as micro-bullage (oxygination of its lees, which is practiced in some Burgundy and St.-Emilion cellars). Dark ruby/purple-colored, with a sweet cassis/cherry and subtle toasty oak-scented nose, this medium-bodied effort possesses excellent concentration, low acidity, a plush, multi-layered texture, and fine length.
