Description
The 1994 Château Palmer wine, a testament to its quality and meticulous vineyard management, should exhibit a medium to deep garnet hue. Its aromas include ripe dark fruits, cedar, tobacco, earthiness, floral notes, and herbal character. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with softened tannins and flavours like blackberry, black cherry, cassis, leather, cigar box, and baking spices. While the 1994 vintage may not have the power and intensity of some of Palmer's exceptional years, it may still offer a complex and enjoyable drinking experience, particularly for those who appreciate aged Bordeaux wines.

This mature Bordeaux should be served at 18 celsius and will require decanting. The wine will pair wonderfully with a variety of foods due to its balanced and elegant profile. Serve with grilled steak, lamb chops, roasted game, aged cheeses such as Comté or Gruyère, and mushroom risotto.

Reviews
Palmer's 1994 is a successful wine for the vintage. The large Merlot component gives the wine a silky texture, and an up-front, sweet, black-cherry and plum-scented nose with toasty oak and floral scents. Medium-bodied, round, and nicely concentrated, this charming, elegant wine is well-proportioned and harmonious. Neither acidity, tannin, nor alcohol stand out in this well-balanced 1994.
