Description
The cooler vineyard soils at Giscours and the pivotal decision not to leaf-pluck in July contributed to making this one of the stars of the commune. With over 60% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend this has a delightfully perfumed violet aroma, and on the palate there is an impressive depth of fruit. A very classy wine – perhaps one of the finest Giscours of the last decade – and representing excellent value.
