Gazin wines are a very typical product of the Pomerol terroir. Their lavish richness offers a wide aromatic range of black and red fruits which harmonises with their intense purple or garnet colour. The 1999 has a nose of spices,, truffles, undergrowth and gamey scents. The taste is characterised by their silky tannins, their balance and concentration, enhanced by a delicate oaky note.

Château Gazin is a prestigious wine estate located in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, France. With a history dating back several centuries, the estate is renowned for producing exceptional red wines. Encompassing approximately 26 hectares, the vineyard benefits from a unique terroir of clay and gravel soils, ideal for nurturing Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and a small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Château Gazin's wines are celebrated for their depth, richness, and complexity, showcasing ripe fruit flavors, supple tannins, and a distinctive Pomerol character. Under the ownership of the de Bailliencourt dit Courcol family since the early 20th century, the estate continues to uphold its reputation for excellence, crafting wines that exemplify the finest traditions of Pomerol winemaking.
