A 2019 vintage Bordeaux wine. This is the beauty of decent Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux if stored well - it makes demands on the taster (patience and consideration). Not a wine from those who prefer to 'pop and pour' who miss out on most of the quality and character.

The 2019 has a good rich colour. There is great concentration and intensity of fruit due to reduced yields. The structure is well complemented by the vibrant juiciness of the fruit.

Château Cissac is a prestigious wine estate situated in the Haut-Médoc appellation of Bordeaux, France. Encompassing around 50 hectares of vineyards, the estate features gravelly soils ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. With roots tracing back to the 18th century, Château Cissac blends traditional winemaking techniques with modern innovations to produce high-quality red wines. Known for their elegance, balance, and aging potential, the wines from Château Cissac are characterized by their rich black fruit flavors, refined tannins, and a notable complexity that reflects the distinctive terroir of the Haut-Médoc region. This family-owned estate is celebrated for its commitment to quality and its role in exemplifying the excellence of Bordeaux's Left Bank wines.
