Description

The 2008 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a pretty, mid-weight Amarone with silky-textured, perfumed fruit. This is a relatively small-scaled Amarone yet the wine possesses lovely inner perfume and terrific overall balance. The 2008 Amarone is already pretty complete and should drink nicely with a minimum of cellaring. Sweet herbs, tobacco and anise ring out on the long, polished finish.
