This 1959 wine comes from the region of Sauternes near Bordeaux, famous for its luscious sweet wines of exceptional quality. In terms of aroma and taste you should expect nectar like aromas of apricot and peach compote and marmalade and honey notes. The wine should have a smooth mouthfeel and high enough acidity to balance its sweetness gracefully.

Enjoy on its own or with foie gras or a fine dessert.
