Tasting Notes
The Sandeman 30 Year Old Tawny Port is of a deep amber amber colour with intense aromas of honey and spices, underscored with deep flavours of dried apricots, hazelnuts and vanilla, creating a rich yet elegant combination. Luxuriously smooth and well-balanced on the palate, this is offering a harmonious blend of dried fruits, nuts, and caramel flavours. Layers of spice, honey, and subtle oak influence enhance the palate, with hints of chocolate and coffee. The finish is long, elegant, and lingering, with a delightful balance of sweetness and acidity, leaving a nutty, caramelized aftertaste.
Serving & Food Pairing:
Tawny Ports are ready-to drink and do not require decanting. Best enjoyed slightly chilled at 12-13ºC they will work wonders if pairing with treacle tart, crème brulee or nut based desserts, like hazelnut praline.

Glistening with bright citrus peel, balsamic and mocha notes which spiral and swirl over the nose and palate, with vibrant acidity and a breath-taking toasted almond finish.
***93 Points- Silver- Decanter 2023***
Such a treat, such pleasure and such indulgence! A cornucopia of layers abounds in this wine. It's gloriously soft, nutty and open with sublime delicacy and refinement on the palate and a delicious drying savoury-nutty finish. Bright acidity keeps it noble and tempting to relish with abandon. Sublime. On its way to perfection.

Spiced orchard fruit, black cherries with leather and some rancio character. The medium-bodied palate shows balanced concentration with some plump weight and freshness. "
