Description
The 2009 Dupeyron Armagnac is the expression of a single year and has a unique character associated with the year and the cask in which it has been stored. These vintages are bottled at the alcohol level in which they naturally come out of the cask.
Tasting Notes
There is a wonderful contrast between the sweet and sour flavours of wood, amplified by the strong alcoholic degree. Rich palate feeling the alcohol and the concentration of dry plums, spicy with persistent flavour of rancio and of spices, but round, soft and long in the finish. The tannins are very present, but full-bodied and round.
Serving & Food Pairing
Armagnac is traditionally enjoyed neat, allowing you to fully appreciate its complexity. However, it can be paired with a variety of cheeses like Roquefort, Comté, high quality dark chocolate, caramel-based desserts and roasted or candied nuts.
The Maison Ryst-Dupeyron was founded by Joseph Dupeyron in 1905. He built a family home in the heart of Gascony, to house its elixirs. This has been passed on for five generations and is now in the care of Caroline Ryst.

How to store your Armagnac
Store the bottle upright to minimize contact between the spirit and the cork. This reduces the risk of the cork deteriorating. Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place, ideally between 15-20°C and avoid temperature fluctuations. Store the bottle away from direct sunlight and artificial light.
