  • Description

A well matured 1973 Vintage Armagnac suitable for sipping neat to fully appreciate its depth and complexity.

    Tasting Notes
The 2007 Ryst-Dupeyron Armagnac is a rich, inviting blend of dried fruits, vanilla, caramel, honey, spices, leather, tobacco, and a slight nuttiness. The nose is rich and inviting, with dominant notes of prunes, figs, and apricots. The palate is smooth and warm, with a harmonious blend of dried fruit, honey, toffee, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and citrus zest. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering oak, spice, and warmth.

    Serving & Food Pairing
Armagnac is traditionally enjoyed neat, allowing you to fully appreciate its complexity. However, it can be paired with a variety of cheeses like Roquefort, Comté, high quality dark chocolate, caramel-based desserts and roasted or candied nuts.

Maison Ryst-Dupeyron, a prestigious Armagnac house in Gascony, France, has a rich history dating back to 1832. After a devastating fire destroyed their cellars in 1904, they discovered that barrels hidden in nearby vineyards had exceptional qualities. This led to the creation of "Armagnac de terroir," or "Armagnac of the land," which showcases the family's resilience and commitment to producing exceptional Armagnac.

    How to store your Armagnac
Store the bottle upright to minimize contact between the spirit and the cork. This reduces the risk of the cork deteriorating. Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place, ideally between 15-20°C and avoid temperature fluctuations. Store the bottle away from direct sunlight and artificial light.
