Tasting Notes
The Carvalhas Vintage 2019 is a Port of enormous potential, which immediately impresses with its immense concentration through a youthful purple colour, revealing all the essence of a great Vintage. On the nose it immediately captivates for its aromatic intensity and complexity, with notes of wild berries, rockrose and ripe liquorice, in a very rich and noble profile. A Port of great structure and concentration, showing depth, rusticity, but at the same time a lot of elegance, ending with a long and persistent aftertaste.br/>

This is a fine Vintage Port from a top vineyard. Its richness comes from the density of the texture that is enhanced by the young tannins. Balanced by the ripe stewed prune and berry flavors, the wine will age well. Drink from 2030. — Roger Voss
