  • Description

The Quinta das Carvalhas 2004 Vintage Port can age beautifully for decades, developing greater complexity and smoother tannins over time.

    Tasting Notes
Deep ruby colour with rich and complex aromas of dark berries, plums, black cherries, and hints of floral notes alongside spices and chocolate. Full-bodied with a dense and velvety texture. The flavour profile is dominated by ripe black fruits, with layers of dark chocolate, licorice, and spices. Well-balanced acidity and robust tannins give it a solid structure. It evolves into a long and persistent finish with a rich aftertaste of fruit and spice.

    Serving Tips & Food Pairing
When mature this port will need to be decanted to remove sediment. Serve at room temperature on its own, with steak or vintage mature blue cheeses or top quality chocolate.
