Description

The 1975 Nebbiolo d'Alba Salvano Saverio is a mature and refined wine that showcases the versatility and aging potential of Nebbiolo outside of Barolo and Barbaresco. Over the years, it has developed a complex bouquet of dried red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, along with floral notes of rose petals and subtle earthy nuances of leather, tobacco, and truffle. The tannins have softened with age, leading to a smoother, more integrated texture, while the acidity remains fresh, providing balance and structure.
