Description

The Messias Special Reserve Tawny is a higher-quality version of their standard Tawny Port, typically aged longer and offering greater complexity and depth.

Tasting Notes:
Deep amber to mahogany colour, reflecting extended aging. Rich and complex aroma, with pronounced notes of dried figs, raisins, almonds and walnuts, caramel, and hints of spice and vanilla. It shows a smooth and well-rounded mouthfeel, featuring a harmonious blend of dried fruits, nuts, caramel, and spice. It has a long, elegant finish with a hint of sweetness.

Serving & Food Pairing
Tawny Ports are ready-to drink and do not require decanting. Best enjoyed slightly chilled at 12-13ºC they will work wonders if pairing with treacle tart, crème brulee or nut based desserts, like hazelnut praline.
