A well-crafted Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with Chardonnay grapes from the region of Bairrada. Tasting Notes
It presents very seductive, greenish-yellow colour and fine bubbles. Notes aromas of white flowers associated with white-fleshed fruit. Stylish, lively, delicate and a very long aftertaste. All is in harmony in this wine that never tires the palate.
Serving and Food Pairing
Serve at a temperature of 6°C to 8°C. Perfect with salads and fish but also as an aperitif.
Messias was founded in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, who served as chairman until 1973. The management is still held by the descendants of Messias family. Since its foundation that Messias has been producing and selling high quality wines from the main demarcated regions: Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto.
