Description

This 1954 wine is made by the Malvasia variety used to create a sweet fortified wine . Also known as Malmsey, this is the sweetest style of Madeira. Expect complex and often savoury flavours of black walnut, Sichuan pepper, pink peppercorn, dried mission fig, and wet lava rocks.

You can pair Malmsey with rich chocolate desserts, ice cream, and cheese, or just sit with a glass by the fireside. Malmsey is dessert in and of itself.

Cossart Gordon & Co., commonly known as Cossart Gordon, is another prominent Madeira wine producer. The company has a long history, dating back to its establishment in 1745. Over the years, Cossart Gordon has been recognized for producing high-quality Madeira wines.
