Cirò is a DOC of the Calabria wine region in deepest southern Italy best known for red wines based on the Gaglioppo grape variety. Considered one of the oldest named wines in the world, with a winemaking history stretching back thousands of years

Bright ruby red in colour and transparent. Has an elegant bouquet in which they differ between floral and fruity notes: rose, maraschino cherry, red fruit and hints of iodine on a rhubarb and sweet spices. The palate has good body weight in balance and freshness, is intense and soft with a lingering fruity finish and almonds.
