This beautiful Sauternes from the excellent 1970 vintage displays an orange/copper hue. On the nose and palate aromas of orange marmalade, delicate caramel, and layers of honey create a sweet and elegant wine, with great acidity which gives it verve. Drinking very nicely now, but with lots of life left.
