Description

The Chateau Potensac 1996 has plenty of cassis, leaf and cedar to begin with. The wine is fresh and gains in the glass. The fruits have a ripe, creamy edge from the vintage but the wine remains savoury and true. It has ample structure beneath the flesh and is still drinking nicely. A beautiful mature older Medoc.

Château Potensac, located in the Médoc appellation of Bordeaux, France, is esteemed for its longstanding tradition of producing exceptional red wines. With a history dating back to the 14th century, the estate's vineyards cover approximately 60 hectares, primarily planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes.
