Description
Chateau Mouton Rothschild, one of the most famous wines in the world! A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Appropriately, the bottles for each vintage, of this first-growth Bordeaux, have been adorned by labels created by the world's great artists since 1945. The 1967 is a collectors item.
The 1967 Mouton has on the nose "Plum, Wild Berry, Leather, Library Books and Spice. Palate: Very nice density for its age with an elegant approach. Very silky and well resolved palate that offered fading fruit of black cherry and plum with nice but muted secondary notes of leather, tobacco and some sweet herbs. Finish: Lingered for a fleeting moment then faded quickly on the finish." Cellar Tracker reviews. Tasted 2017.
