Description

The 1999 Lascombes has a deep garnet core with a thin tawny rim. The nose is open-knit, forward, a little muffled with notes of soy and liquorice. The palate is expressive and forward, lacking real vigour. Soft tannins, a little diffused with notes of blackberry, soy and a touch of pain grille. It is an enjoyable, fully mature wine.
