Description

the 1986 chateau Lannessan as a Dark ruby red colour, clear and very weighty. A strong, thick fruit nose. Alcoholic 'Ribena'! A hefty blackcurrant aroma, a an equally potent alcoholic bouquet! Dry mouthfeel. A huge, complex taste, dry tannin, a big blackcurrant fruitiness, which is followed by a strong peppery spice. The finish is long.
