Description
The tasting note from Serina Sutcliffe (Sothebys Master of Wine) refers to a wine taken from this collection. “Amazingly deep, dense colour. Immensely rich opulent spicy bouquet. Stupendous. Deep, rich plums. A real rich taste of Medoc terroir. Infused with haunting Havana flavours. Sweet cherries and sandalwood taste. Just so taste. Just so unbelievably full of glycerol, still. Unbelievable, if you had not experienced it”.
The wines of Chateau Lanessan are famous for their longevity. The reputation of the chateau has long been known in Bordeaux and all those who have been lucky enough to taste back through the decades have been greatly impressed by the quality and youth of these wines.
