Very pretty aromas of blackberry, with hints of Indian spices and licorice, follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a fruity aftertaste. Has lots of green olive, dark olive and plum on the finish. Very balanced.

Known as Ch Bourgneuf-Vayron on the French market. Bright, healthy crimson. Alluring spice and intrigue with lovely smooth texture yet life and lift on the finish. Lots of vivacity and life and punch. Good savoury finish, Very neat. Unusually appetising for a Pomerol, suggesting long life and persistence. Beautifully crafted. Manages to be both very ripe and delicate in texture. Total flattery without resorting to simple sweetness or oak.
