Tasting Notes
Rich and mature port wine with a lovely amber hue. Intense and complex aroma, featuring notes of English cake, raisins, dried figs, toasted almonds and a hint of truffle and tea. On the palate, it is delicate, smooth and velvety, wonderfully balanced, with flavours of caramel, Muscovado sugar and walnuts, balanced by fresh orange and lemon acidity. It finishes long and soft, with delicate flavours that linger.
Serving & Food Pairing:
Best enjoyed slightly chilled, often as a dessert wine. It pairs beautifully with desserts like almond tart, dried fruit dishes, and creamy cheeses, or it can be sipped on its own to appreciate its full complexity.
