  • Description

The 1994 Barolo Cantine Prandi has come from the producer's historic cellars where it has laid undisturbed since bottling. It has matured to perfection and is perfect to drink now.

Barolo is a red wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy. Made from the Nebbiolo grape, it is known for its garnet colour, intense flavours of cherry, plum, and spice, as well as its high tannin content. Barolo wines are often aged for several years, resulting in complex flavors and aromas. They are considered some of Italy's finest and most age-worthy wines.

    Serving & Food Pairing:
Barolos are best served at 18ºC. Older wines require decanting to separate grape residue and to bring out the flavours and make the Barolo softer and more enjoyable to drink. After this you can best wait for about 4 hours before drinking the wine. Pair your Barolo with slow cooked beef casserole, pasta with ragu, truffle and egg dishes, mushroom risotto and mature hard cheeses.

Cantine Pràndi is a family-owned winery in Piedmont, Italy, known for producing high-quality Barolo wines. With vineyards in prestigious crus, Cantine Pràndi produces wines of exceptional quality and complexity.
