This astounding port is a deep, opaque ruby color with hints of garnet at the rim. It has complex aromas of blackberry, plum, and dark cherry, cocoa, vanilla, and exotic spices. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with ripe black fruits dominating, layers of dark chocolate, espresso, and baking spices adding depth. The tannins are well-integrated, providing structure without overwhelming the palate. The sweetness is balanced by a vibrant acidity, giving the wine freshness and lift. The finish is long and lingering, with fruit and spice flavours persisting.

Serving and Food pairing
Vintage Ports require decanting and are best served slightly below modern room temperature: 16° to 18° C. This is the kind of wine that can be enjoyed now or aged even further to allow its flavors to develop and evolve over time. Whether you're sipping it on its own or pairing it with a rich dessert like chocolate mousse or a selection of aged cheeses, a vintage port is sure to be a memorable experience.
